Located in Bucharest, on the shores of Lake Baneasa, this small housing complex responds to the clients’ wish for six housing units with a private feel and generous openings to the surrounding environment. The demand was materialized in two identical buildings, with semi-basement, ground floor and two floors, each of the above ground levels containing one apartment.
The site’s imprint is approximately square in size, which led to a simple and effective volumetric solution. The first level contains the common areas – the fitness club and gym -, as well as the storage spaces. Inside the apartments, the daytime area faces the lake. In order to make the most of the available view, without being disturbed by the noise coming from the city, the inhabitants may use the generous loggia, separated from the interior by a transparent parapet.

The complex also contains an outdoor swimming pool, a playground and an outside dining area.
