The house, whose ground floor was the subject of the project, dates from the XVIIIth century and has hosted commercial activities throughout the XIXth and XXth centuries. The interior space is an interesting background for the project seeing as the first two rooms have baroque vaults. Because of the rooms reduced usable height and modest areas particular interior design solutions were needed. Therefore the project proposes a departure from the clients usual retail branding. The perimetral furniture is reduced to a wireframe to allow for an easy reading of the vault geometry.
